AI research workflow templates
Generative AI for Research Initiative, 6 November 2026

Open the CSV files in a spreadsheet or import them into your preferred research workspace. They contain column headers and no participant data. Add one row per paper, claim, coding decision, or analysis check.

Evidence matrix: use verified, corrected, unresolved, or not reported in verification_status. Keep the authors' reported finding separate from analyst_interpretation.
Citation check: use supported, supported with narrower wording, unsupported, or unresolved in decision. Read the supporting passage in its original context.
Coding review: use accepted, revised, or rejected in researcher_decision. Adapt the evaluation to your qualitative methodology. Work with excerpts approved for the selected tool and storage environment.
Analysis check: specify the expected result before running the check. Keep raw inputs unchanged and record a version of the script and environment.

Store these logs within your approved project environment. They may become sensitive when you add data. These are starter templates, not a complete systematic-review protocol or a substitute for methodological judgment.
